I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want.

Don't worry, that song should leave your head by Monday.

I've seen so many "Summer Bucket List" posts lately that I decided to make my own.  That way I have to stick to it.  Right?  I'm going to try an be reasonable with my list, I don't want feel like a total failure, come September.

So here goes:

♫  Go to a concert.
♫  Go on at least four camping trips.  I usually only go twice, I'd really like to double that number.
♫  Camp someplace other than our usual Greenwater spot.  As much as I love it there, I'd really like to start seeing some other places.
♫  Get back to work.  My youngest kid is in her senior year and I don't want to be left wondering, "What do I do now?".
♫  Lose 25 pounds.  As I type this, I'm eating a bowl of Crunch Berries cereal.  That totally helps!
♫  Take my kids on a road trip to Arizona, so we can meet my siblings from my bio dad, and they can meet my bio dad and step-mom.  It's probably time.
♫  Clean my basement.  Haven't heard that one in a while, have ya?!  That's because talking about it, makes me do it, and I haven't wanted to do it in a while, so I haven't talked about it.  But now it's time to do it, so here I am talking about it.
♫  Try to get the blackberries under control.  Whether I do it myself, make The Mister do it or hire someone to come in and burn it down, I need to get them down to a reasonable amount.
♫  Completely repaint the inside of the house.  Almost every room.
♫ Rearrange the living room.  Due to the layout of the living room, it's not very easy to change things up, but I'm gonna give it a shot.
♫  Stop adding things to my list.

See ya tomorrow for some confessional therapy!

  1. I've been loving checking things off of my list - I'm shocked how motivating it's been for me. In fact I'm doing something tonight that I'll get to check off!

Good luck with your list! Oh and, I had lose 15 pounds by my birthday on my list and that for SURE isn't going to happen, haha. I don't know why I even put it on there! Oops!

  2. Stop adding things to your list? Eh...that will NEVER happen! ::snort::

My summer to do list didn't even get touched! I start back to school next week (Summer III classes) and I won't have time for anything!

Good luck with your list...at least most of yours is really doable and fun stuff!
