WTF Wednesday

Somebody please tell me how this makes any sense.  What you are looking at, besides a dirty backwall to our garbage can, is an empty coffee cup literally 1 1/2 feet above the garbage can, left there by my husband.  Can someone please explain what was so difficult about throwing it in the trash???
