I confess......that I am a morning person. I wake up between 4-5 am and I love it. I especially love it in the late spring and summer months where it's nice and bright out in the mornings, that really puts a wind in my sail. I think I've always been one, even as a teenager, I found myself waking up before 7 most days and forcing myself to go back to sleep till at least 8, so I could seem like a "normal" teen. Although, that trait came in handy when I became a mom at 16, because that kid is also an early riser, nothing like the 16 hours of sleep a day sister she has.
I confess......that I am, after 18 years, still wildly in love with my mister. I know, I'm supposed to resent him by now, but I just can't do it. He's not the most attentive, affectionate, romantic, courteous person I know, but I'm not the most productive, motivated, focused nice girl either, and I know that, and I know that he accepts me and loves me so everything else is just gravy!
I confess.......gravy is delicious.
I confess.......that right now I want sausage gravy and biscuits. I think I'll have to make those this weekend, he's not a huge fan of them, but I put up with the smell while I cook his disgusting corned beef hash, so he can just cope with it, right?
I confess.......that I can't wait until the kid is out of school for the summer. YAY!!! Soon we will be able to take long day trips to place and watch movies all day long. Or we can bake a batch of cupcakes every day so that by the time school starts back up, we'll be master baker/decorators. By the way, we are making our first "paid" cake for a friend's daughter next weekend, we're very excited. We'll probably spend more than me make on it, but hey, word of mouth about how BAD ASS of a job we did, will be priceless.
I confess.....now I want cake.
I confess.....I actually looking forward to going camping next weekend. I haven't been camping on a Memorial Day in 11 years. I gave it up years ago and started going the weekend after instead, when there weren't so many people camping, but this year, many of my friends have
forced talked me into going this year. Were going up into the mountain passes, where there's a good chance there is still some snow on the ground, and that I will be freezing my ass of on cold, freezing cold mornings. And I'm actually excited for it.
I confess....that I need to get off this computer and get outside to do some work, before the sun gets too warm and I lose all motivation to get my starts in the ground. I also have a tutu to make and a practice cake to bake, and cake supplies to order. And various other domesticated things to do..
Hope y'all have a FABULOUS weekend!!!
