Scared little monkey!

I haven't written a post on here in ages it seems like and I never thought I'd miss it as much as I did.  I found myself I hope all of my mommy followers had a wonderful Mothers Day.  Mine was quite nice, complete with brunch at moms house with my mom, dad, sis, nephews, bro-in-law and brother and lots of bacon.  No Mothers Day is complete without lots of bacon.

The day before Mothers Day was equally as exciting complete with the celebration of my baby nephews first birthday, officially making him, no long my baby nephew.  Poor little guy wasn't feeling all that well for his party and cried when he wanted to, or when he saw his cake.

Enjoying his new ride.  He's big pimpin' now.

He's even got a babe on the back.

For some reason, every time he looks at me, he either sticks out his tongue or shakes his head no.

He's a pro dismounter.

Everybody wang chung tonight.

My beautiful baby sister and baby mama.

Birthday baby, big brother and big daddy.

I don't know this little girls name, but oh my was she gorgeous.

I know her name and she is gorgeous too.

The monkey cake I made for my nephew.

His reaction to sticking his fingers into a monkeys face.
Poor little monkey boy, he never got to taste that cake because it scared the living bajeebus out of him.  Maybe I should have made him a sweet little flowery cake, like the one I made my mom.

My moms Mom's Day cake.  By the way, it was delicious!
As was my mother-in-laws cake.
I am officially caked out for a day....or an hour.  Hmmm.  I want cake.  Wonder if there's any left over.

I'm gonna go check.

  1. the hair on that little redhead is what mine looked like at that age then darkened to auburn by age 12. Loved the photos....Laythan is a cutie, hope he's feeling better.
