Linda @ USS Parenting said... My favorite gift was actually a favorite memory. My dear husband wanted our 4 kids to serve mommy breakfast in bed for Mother's Day. They made me eggs, toast and coffee. The best part was that all 4 kids were dressed up in togas, like Egyptian slaves. They even made palm leaves out of cardboard to fan me as I ate. Priceless!
Please email me at Mamanature73@gmail.com, to claim your prize. Hope you all had a wonderful Mothers Day!!
I can't believe I did it. One hundred posts about things I really thought no one would ever want to read, but you did and for that I thank you. This experience has given me a new reason to believe in myself and the things I dream to achieve.
And to celebrate the occasion of believing in myself, I'm giving away a beautiful Sterling Silver Believe necklace.
This beautiful 16" necklace is all sterling silver and has a dainty little believe charm on it. Simple yet elegant. |
The words believe, dream and hope are engraved on the three sides of the charm. Very charming. |
All you have to do to enter is answer this question down below in the comment box.
What was your favorite Mother's day gift you've ever given/received, either or both will do.
You have until Mothers Day at midnight to enter. Winner will be chosen at random by my super random daughter and announced on Monday.
Now, the suns out so I'm going to go enjoy it to celebrate.
Rock on!
Marisa
PS. Soap tutorial coming. Still trying to edit all the pictures, I didn't realize so many were taken.
A simple question for me, just having my family come over to visit and share in a meal is all I need.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 100 posts! Yay! *Tossing up some virtual confetti for you*
Great giveaway! My favorite Mother's day was when my oldest son was only two. He is now 23. We were dirt poor and my husband had been saving any extra money he could, his lunch, coffee and even cigarette money. He surprised me with a homemade steak and lobster dinner. It was perfect. He did an exceptional job cooking all of it. After dinner we spent the afternoon at the park with Tony our son. All my mother's day's are special. I love spending them with both my boys but that one was extra special.

My favorite Mother's Day gift was whatever my son made for me when he was in school. He is disabled, but can draw, and he would make me beautiful drawings. I still have most of them. He is now 41 years old, and every now and then I take them out, and remember.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Mother's Day gift has to be hugs and kisses from my three boys who made me a mom. This year my oldest and youngest presented me with homemade bookmarks. My middle one says he is still making his gift (at school). Since he didn't have a gift he begged his dad to bring me a dozen roses. Together the four of them (DH, boys) made me a big breakfast and then fixed steaks & baked potatoes for dinner.
