OMG, what now, what now???

If it sounds like there's panic in my voice, there was.  As you know, I got new teeth on Monday.  I went back on Tuesday, so that we could try and get the dentures out.  "Why", you may ask, yeah, me too.  Evidently, my gums need to breathe.  Okay, inhale, exhale, easy as pie, but why do I have to take them out?  How long do I leave them out?  OMG, what if I can't get them back in???

We were unable to get them out, due to my gift for the dramatics, so the dentist told me to keep trying.  Keep in mind, I didn't really want to try.  But like a good little soldier, I kept trying and trying and trying.

While sitting around with the younger this morning, I decided to give it a real good 'gung ho' of a shot and 'bam', just like that they were out and a great amount of pressure was released.

OH.MY.WORD!  What did I just do?
OH.NO!  I can't get them back in.
OH.GROSS!  I can feel the stitches.
HELP.ME!  I think I'm going to faint.

"Why, dear daughter are you laughing at me, this is serious, I've been traumatized, call Dr. Phil, Dr. Drew, Dr. Ruth, call anybody"  I say to my younger, who is now looking at me as if completely off my rocker.  Let's face it, I just might be.

After a couple of minutes of pacing around my kitchen/dining/living rooms and some calming words from my darling daughter, I was able to grab a hold of my senses enough to follow the next set of instructions on what to do at this point. Thank goodness she was here, I have these visions of me running around in a panic until I smack myself into a wall of unconsciousness.  Did I mention my gift for dramatics?  You'd think I was Scarlett O'Hara, in Gone with the Wind, with the way I can carry on, *insert hand to forehead, thick southern accent here.

So, yes, things are going just fine with my teeth and I have to give a special thanks to the kid that has to put up with the dramatics.

Thanks kid!  Mommy loves ya.
